WYOFCC Gumbo Cookoff June 3rd 2023!

It's that time of year and we are gearing up for Casper's premier Cajun event, WFCC's Gumbo Cookoff: This is how we ROUX it! Come and help us Celebrate Mardi Gras in June!!

We hope you will join us for this amazing event! There will be a beer garden, artisans, vendors, children's games and activities and live music featuring several local favorites! This is an event the whole family will love.

⦁Prizes will be awarded for the for best meat and best seafood gumbo. A judging panel will taste all gumbo entries. Winners will be announced at the event.
⦁1St Place $1000 2nd Place $500 3rd Place $250

⦁Win a prize for People's Choice for overall best Gumbo. People's Choice is decided by votes. The Price of admission into the cookoff will include 1 meat and 1 seafood ballot. Additional ballots can be purchased $1.00. (Proceeds from additional ballots go to WFCC). People's Choice Winners will be announced at the event.
⦁Join us Friday night and bid on your favorite team! The winner from last year's Calcutta received over $3000!
⦁Share your business with community! Over 800 people attend the event annually. This is a fantastic opportunity to promote your restaurant or business! Remember to bring marketing materials, menus, coupons, booth decorations, and other items!
⦁Most importantly, we're raising money for a great cause! Proceeds from this event will benefit the Wyoming Foundation for Cancer Care and will help us help Wyoming cancer patients!

At Wyoming Foundation for Cancer Care (WFCC), our mission is to ease the financial burden faced by Cancer patients while they are undergoing treatment. This assistance takes many forms, including help with mortgages/rent, utilities, groceries, and travel expenses needed to get to and from treatments. The volunteer side of our organization, the Angels, provide an array of personalized services to support cancer patients and their caregivers. This assistance includes cleaning or housework, errand running, providing meals, or taking patients to and from appointments.
