The Wyoming Foundation for Cancer Care is excited to announce our new Executive Director. The financial burden of cancer is heavy, so the WFCC does our best to help patients get through their treatment, and as we continue expanding our reach across the state we can't wait to work with Amy Womack!
Amy has the unique perspective of a cancer survivor and has lived in Wyoming since she was a young child, therefore, she is passionate about our vision. She is looking forward to helping the residents of Wyoming with their financial burden so they can focus on completing their cancer treatment.
Amy has worked with numerous politicians for years and has connections all over the state, so we are looking forward to experiencing even more growth in the future. She has an AA from Casper College and a BS in political science from the University of Wyoming. Amy is the mother of two teenagers, Emma and Preston, who attend school at NC and KW. Amy loves to cook and garden. She says daisies are the happiest flower and owns everything in pink! She is looking forward to getting on the road and helping people statewide with their needs.
"This year my goals are to work on name recognition & growth of outreach for the foundation along with funding for all patients around the state of Wyoming. The Wyoming Foundation for Cancer Care has the capacity to help in so many ways, I am so excited to be a part of this work!"
Join us in welcoming Amy on her new adventure and bidding farewell to our former director Abi Strube!
